Engineering and Building Investigation Services commenced business in February 1994. We have undertaken over 5000 jobs including site investigations for residential and commercial projects, design of systems for onsite effluent disposal, structural, residential, commercial and industrial designs of buildings, pools and retaining walls, plan drafting for new residences, extensions, small commercial projects and associated civil works. EBIS has a long standing reputation within the building construction industry on the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland, North Brisbane and Southern Wide Bay. We regularly associate with professionals in related fields including architects, building designers, environmental consultants, hydraulic engineers, town planners, surveyors and building certifiers.
Geotechnical - EBIS undertakes soil testing for new residential, commercial and industrial projects, extensions and cracked house investigations
Plan Drafting - EBIS offers a design and drafting service for builders and home owners wanting a complete “one stop” service to precertification stage for new residences and extensions and small commercial projects. We can also provide 3D sketches and building energy assessments for all new homes.
Structural Design - EBIS provides structural design for architects, building designers and builders on residential and commercial projects as well as part of our “one stop” service for home owners undertaking new house and extension projects.
Building Inspections - EBIS undertakes building inspections for body corporate and home owners including maintenance inspections, water entry problems, cracking and movement, foundation issues.
Civil Works - EBIS provide a complete design and construction detailing service for the operation works phase of lot reconfiguration and industrial/commercial developments.
This includes earthworks, driveways and parking; road widening, kerb and channel and footpaths; retaining walls; service vehicle swept paths; erosion and sediment control plans; and construction supervision of the above works.
